Ah heck, I figure I may as well keep the Halloween preview going! I had so much fun making my Halloween cards this past week! Why not share them with you all!
This is another card that I made with the Our Craft Lounge set called Ghostly Greetings. I don't often make square cards, but whenever I do I think I should make them more! This card measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4". I really do like this size. The paper is once again by Bo Bunny. I love how the colors are so bright along with the black. It just pops right out at you! The little ghosts are so darn cute and make for some easy coloring. I put some Stickles glitter glue around them to make them sparkle! These ghosts are not the SCARY kind! LOL! I put the whole set on here so you could see. I adore this set and am very glad I purchased it! I know I will get a lot of use out of it!
Today it is a rainy day which is alright with me. My daughter is leaving for college on Saturday. So this morning we will get the washing machine plugging along and try to get all of her stuff packed. I thought I was doing okay with this whole thing. I thought I was being very brave. But last night I was grinding my teeth, dreaming about my own college years, and basically didn't sleep the best. So as much as I like to think I'm doing okay with this, I don't really think I am! I'm very proud of my daughter and excited for her so I'm going to try to focus on that! I just can't believe how fast the time goes. It feels like just yesterday that she started Kindergarten! YIKES!
Have a happy day my friends!
This is so very cute. I love that set too (I need to get it) Great papers as well.
Wishing your daughter much success at College and a big Hug to you.

Big Hugs to you , Lana. It is going to be a busy weekend for you. I know how proud you are for your daughter going to college. I remember it all so well when my son went away. Your card and paper brought a much needed smile to my day today. (((((HUGS))))))

Hugs to you, Lana, as you send your daughter off to college. I remember what an extremely emotional time that was for me. I didn't handle it well at all. Hopefully she isn't going to be that far away. With cell phones, text messaging, and e-mail, it is so much easier to keep in touch now that I think it will be much easier on you than when my daughter left for college back in '93. OK, so perhaps you smiled a bit to know I'm much older than you!!!! :) Don't worry, she'll be back. You're right though. The years go by way too quickly, if only people would realize that and not try to get their kids to grow up so fast. I'm sure your daughter appreciates everything you've done for her over the years and she'll be in touch. HUGS!
