Bunny Time!

Good morning! Happy Sunday. I haven't posted in a long time. Oh my goodness! Sometimes I really just get caught up in life!  Today I have this fun card to share.

I had so much fun stamping yesterday. My cards went together so easily, and I was happy with what I was making. That doesn't always happen that way!  This stamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs. The paper is from We R Memory Keepers except for the yellow checked which is October Afternoon. I felt like I needed a swipe of yellow on my card. I never in a million years would have thought to use these colors for coloring the image in. Brown? Who uses brown for an Easter card. I was completely working off the background paper colors. I was quite pleased how this turned out.

I hope to get more time to stamp in today, but I'm not sure that will happen!  My oldest daughters goes back to college, and I have a lot of cleaning to do!  Oh well! I certainly enjoyed my time yesterday!

 

Watering Can Fun

Happy Sweet Sunday to you!  It is early Sunday morning and pretty quiet yet this morning!

I am sharing a card today that I made using one of the new Whipper Snapper Designs Spring stamps. Aren't the little froggies so cute?  I was quite happy with the colors I chose as this came together. They scream SPRING to me.

The paper is all scraps of October Afternoon paper that I pieced together. I added some Divine Twine and there you have it!

It looks like it snowed a tiny bit over night. This is March in Wisconsin.  On Tuesday it is supposed to be in the 50s.

Thinking of You Ducky

Good morning! It is Saturday here in the Lepinski household and the bedrooms are filled today. I love having my family home.  Good ol' Uncle Phil is going to be paying us a visit this weekend and nobody wants to miss out on that!  We had a snow storm blow through yesterday afternoon and evening, and we were afraid that might mess with our plans.  But this is March in Wisconsin so Uncle Phil will be on his way!

 Today I want to share a card that I made for my Aunt Katy who is battling cancer. She is a rule trooper, and I think of her just about every day.  This cute little ducky is sure to cheer her up. The stamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs. The paper is a mix-match from October Afternoon, My Minds Eye, and probably more.

Oh Happy Day!

Good morning, my friends!  It is 5:40am and I am up and at 'em!  I am a wee bit excited today because a friend of mine decided to take a last minute "get out of the house" trip and is coming to visit for the weekend. We are going to laugh, stamp, shop, laugh, eat, stamp, laugh, etc. You get the idea. It is going to be a fun day!

This is one of my new Whipper Snapper Designs stamps. I just love to color these images in so much.  Sometimes I forget how much I love to color! This gal will get you in the mood for spring!  All of the paper is from October Afternoon. The layout of the card is very simple because the stamp is very detailed. You don't want to take away from the main focus point!

Run Wheelie Fast

Good Sunday morning to you.  I picked this card today because I think it is appropriate for what I have been doing the last week--running around wheelie fast!  LOL! Doesn't it feel like it's hard to fit everything in sometimes?  So yesterday I took the day off and mostly played around.  I did have things I needed to get done, and I did those things first thing in the morning. It was a very enjoyable day. I bet you are wondering if I stamped?  Well, funny you should ask! I sure did!

Today's card, I actually made last weekend. The hamster stamp is from Whipper Snapper. I think he is cute as can be.  It reminded me of the last time I needed to take steroids for my arthritis. My daughters insisted that I needed a hamster wheel because of all the energy I had!  I just could not sit still. 

The paper I used is Jillie Bean Soup. I really just pulled pieces from their different 6 x 6 paper pads. I love how they coordinate here.

Think Spring

Good morning!  It is my favorite part of the whole weekend: Saturday morning. I have already been in my stamp room to finish a card, and I will be going back after this post. Yippy!  We have been really lucky this winter. Winter didn't seem to arrive until this month so it is going to make the winter feel a lot shorter than normal. Usually this time of the year, one would kill for just a tiny bit of Spring. With that being said, here is a card that will surely help you think Spring!

The stamps are from the new spring line over at Whipper Snapper Designs. I mixed and match the paper. Most of it is from Lilybedesigns. The green flower strip is from Jillie Bean Soup.

Three Little Birdies

Good Friday morning to you! I am so happy it is Friday. I live for the weekends. We received over 5 inches of snow yesterday. This is really the first snow of the season. I can't believe it held off this long.  So anyways, I am looking forward to stamping some new cards this weekend. I can't wait! Today I have to share this card using a new Whipper Snapper stamp. These birdies are so sweet.  I paired them up with paper from Jillie Bean Soup and October Afternoon.  I am hooked on using Baker's Twine now on cards.

Ribbon Border Bumbly Bee

Happy New Year! If you stayed up to ring in the new year, you may not be up yet. I clonked out pretty early last night. It seems I have found myself a cold. I think I will try to lose that realy quick! 

Today's card is one that I made this weekend. I wanted to make a card with a ribbon border that I have seen on SplitCoastStampers.  I have a very nice ribbon collection so I knew this was a good project for me. I started with the paper. Then found the ribbon.  The hardest part was finding the stamp that I wanted to use. I finally chose a Whipper Snapper Designs bumble bee. I love how it turned out. 

 I head back to school tomorrow. I have really enjoyed having more time to post to my blog!

Good deeds

Hello again.  I am doing pretty good on the blogging this week. I also want to share some things about real life as I go along.  Last weekend, I found Cards that Care.  If you are a stamper and have been for many years, you have an abundance of cards.  I thought of my grandmother who is now passed away. She was in a nursing home towards her last year or so of her life. I always felt it was a lonely place.  So in honor of my Grandma, Louise Makofski, I wrote out some Christmas cards this year and sent them in for this card drive. It made me feel so good. As I wrote in each card, I thought about what it would mean to each individual. I really want to make this holiday season be about what it really should be about: Love, comfort, and peace with a little joy and a whole lot of good will!

It is Sunday morning!  Gosh, I sure do love the weekends.  That is all there is to it!  I don't even have to be doing anything special. I just like to catch up on things around the house and spend time with my family. 

This is one of the cards that I made to send to my daughters once they were off at college.  The stamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs, and it is the perfect size in my opinion. Not to mention, it is cute as can be.  I paired it up with My Minds Eye paper. This is another background that I had stashed away. I always make a bunch of "Lana Cuts" backgrounds. Sometimes it is just so much fun to grab a background, plop an image on and call it good. Oh usually I will add some detaisl like the SRM stickers and of course a button or two!  I still love my buttons!
