Good Saturday morning to ya! Yes, I am up already!  It is Saturdaymorning and I just couldn't sleep any more! On today's card, I used Papertrey Ink's set called Everyday Button Bits.  My friend, Stevie, let me borrow her set when I was at retreat back in August.  I stamped up a bunch of pieces so that I could make the cards later! WOOHOO!  I just grabbed paper from my box of leftovers. You all know how much I love buttons, so I must say I had so much fun playing with this set!  It took me FOREVER to chose the right button for each one!  LOL!  This stamp set is just purely genius in my opinion!  It gives me yet another excuse to use buttons on my cards! 

It is going to be yet another beautiful day here! Get out and enjoy it!

Wishing You

Good morning and happy Good Friday to you!  Today we head up north to good ol' Uncle Phil's house.  We are all a bit excited to go and visit. I haven't gotten everything done around home that I wanted to, but I guess that's okay!  My spring break is coming to an end and that time will be spent with family.

Today I'm sharing a card that I made this week with my new Papertrey stamp set called Wishing You.  My husband got me this set for my birthday (does he know how to pick out stamps or what? LOL).  Yes, I helped him out a little bit!  I love how easy this set is to work with and it has all the right sayings to go along with it!  I dug out my patterned paper (also Papertrey Ink).  I love these colors! 

I hope you all have a fantastic Easter Weekend!  The Easter Bunny is sure to be busy this weekend!  If you see him, throw him an extra carrot or something to help him keep his energy level up! 

I Melt with You

  Good Morning! Here we are at Friday. I know today is going to be a very emotional day for me. I say good bye to my 8th graders.  I sort of feel like a mom abandoning my kids here!  The relationships I make with these kids is real.  And it is so heartwarming when 8th graders show you that they care. I mean come on!  They are teenagers!  Teenagers are NOT SUPPOSED to care about anything!  I really hope I have made a difference in their lives. It was not just a job for me.  I know that I will carry on this thinking with the 5th and 6th graders, it is just hard to say good bye.  

Okay now onto this card. This card was made with the PaperTrey Ink set by Lisa Johnson, called Love Songs!  This set makes me EXTREMELY HAPPY!  Oh there are so many possibilities with this set!  I'm very happy for Leese. I have watched her work since the very beginning.  We always laugh because we both remember a day when she said to me: "Do you think I can stamp?"  I said: "YES!"  Leese set VERY HIGH AMBITIONS for herself in the stamping world, and I think she has far exceeded them all!  And here she is now designing her very own stamp sets for Paper Trey Ink.  YOU GO GIRL!
