Building a Snowbear!

Good Monday morning to you! It's back to reality for me and  after five wonderful days of vacation, relaxing, and putzing around, it's tough!  I'm drinking extra coffee though so I will be okay, and it is a good hair day after all! LOL!

This is another Lili of the Valley stamp set that I purchase a month or two ago. I love how cute their stamps are. They make me smile from ear to ear! We don't have snow on the ground yet in Southern Wisconsin, but I'm sure it will be coming soon. Then I can get outside and build my own snowman! 

Okay I better go pack up my lunch for today! I hope your week gets off to a great start!

Good morning and welcome to the Sunday Post.  I have another lighthouse card to share today. I love this stamp from Our Daily Bread. This time I used it with some new Tim Holtz stamps. The Tim Holtz set is called Going Somewhere and it has small versions of assorted stamps. They are perfect for card-making!

I used the Timeworks Mask to add some detail to the card.  I also added some Sprocket Gears.  I love how these look when you mix the different finishes of them.

This card is for my dad's birthday. I will be delivering it to him tomorrow along with a very special gift.  I am so excited to see his reaction.  My dad is my hero and deserves the very best of things!

Lighthouse

Good afternoon and welcome to the Sunday Post.  I know I'm a bit late today, but that is just how it goes some days!  I have had a really fun weekend so far, and I'm crossing things off my list today!  That feels good.

Yesterday I ran over to the Madison Stamp and Scrap show that was in town. I wasn't going to go, because really I don't need a thing!  I decided to go for a short time any how!  I was glad to see Our Daily Bread Designs at the show for the first time this year! I have wanted this stamp set called Keep My Light Burning for a long time.  I had to grab it while I was there.  The owners are very nice people, too! 

So here is the card I just made up with it. I have always been mesmerized by Lighthouses.  We have even gone out of our way to visit certain lighthouses in Wisconsin. I find them so mysterious.  My favorite lighthouse is the Cana Island Lighthouse in Door County. Many lighthouses have a lot of history that goes right along with them.  If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by!
