I always have to laugh at how much the house mice get into trouble. Boy do they find themselves in some predicaments!  I like that!  I personally try to stay out of trouble!   For this card, I dug out my Cuttlebug embossing borders and gave those a try. I don't always think to use them, but I thought maybe if I had them out and easier to get at, I would use them more!  We'll see how that goes.  I also dug out my Canvas background stamp (one of my favorites from Stampin' Up!). I love using the flower as a circle embellishment on cards. I emboss it on a scrap piece of card stock, and then cut it out with one of my circle punches. I pop it onto the card with some foam tape to give it a little dimension.  See the button brads in the corner? I have so many embellishments in my stamp shop, I forget to use them. I challenge you to dig out some of those little goodies and USE THEM!  It's really quite enjoyable!

Don't Ask

Last week was a pretty off week for me.  Nothing too terribly bad happened other than getting completely DRENCHED at the Homecoming parade with our students.  It just wasn't a perfect week!  So Friday night when I was settling down for the evening, I decided to make a card that reflected my week. It made me laugh the whole time I was making the card. It was good. Sometimes you just need to laugh! There is nothing else you can do!

I believe it was last year that I stamped some of these images off from my friend Bevie's stamp.  She also had the saying that matched perfectly!  These little House Mice seem to get into some peculiar situations, don't they?
