Good afternoon! I am excited to tell you that I am taking the Hero Arts Summer Card Camp 2011. I had a lot of fun this morning using the weekly color combination. It is perfect for the good Ol' Summertime! Yesterday was my first day of class. I had a bit of a problem getting my e-mails, but rest assured, I am in business now! I had to catch up on class this morning. Here is the card I made first thing with the weekly color combinations! I used all Hero Arts' stamps. I really like how I used the border stamp. I samped it right onto the cardstock in black, and I think that makes the whole card pop. Next up, I featured today's
technique on this card. The technique video that Hero Arts showed today was awesome. I was really impressed with all of the little tips that I learned (and I have been stamping for a long time). It was fun to pull out some old supplies. I even had to re-ink up my Staz-on ink pad. It had NO INK at all in it. The other part of this that was really cool was what you can do with Memento Markers & White embossing powder (as shown on the butterflies)!
There is still time to join the Summer Card Camp. You have until tomorrow June 29 to register! You work at your own pace, so don't worry if you don't have the time right now or here and there! And the BEST PART is that they have prizes!

The cards are beautiful!

Great job with both cards! I am having fun in the class, too - need to get working on a window card, though.
