Yesterday I was sitting in the doctor's office with my daughter. She had her 18 year old physical yesterday. Both of my girls have had the same pediatrician their whole lives. Maybe that's why this experience got me thinking. I was sitting there thinking, "Wow. My baby is 18." I starting thinking about all of the years that had gone by. The good times, the bad times, and how the heck did we get to this point? I woke up yesterday morning feeling overwhelmed with everything we had going on lately. After my visit to the doctor's office, I wasn't so overwhelmed any more. Why stress yourself out? I think sometimes we forget to just breath and let the day go by. Maybe just enjoy a few little things along the way. So today and tomorrow, my daughter and I will be at her college orientation. I'm going to enjoy this time with her. It's a little past my bedtime, tonight, but I will survie that! LOL!
Okay enough of the blah, blah, blah. I just wanted to share my experience, and maybe help you to slow down a bit and appreciate the day to day!
Today's card is a fun one. When I spotted this pinwheel from Lil' Inkers Designs, I knew I wanted it! It is the coolest thing. If this isn't a perfect summertime card, I don't know what is! I paired it up with paper from Simple Stories called 100 Days of Summer. I love this paper. I found it on my trip to Archivers a few weeks back! I'm glad I bought a bunch of it!
Okay enjoy your Tuesday and remember to take time to appreciate the day!

18??!!!!! OMW Lana!!!! Love your card - loving that pinwheel die and what you did with it!!! xoxo cindy
