Good morning stampers!  I am really on a roll with posting!  I want to keep my friend, Barb, happy this week! She always checks my blog and seeing as I have been a slacker, I want to make it up to her.  We work together so if I don't keep her happy, I will hear about it! ha ha ha! Just kidding! She is one of the sweetest people I know!  Happy Spring Break, Barb!

Today I have a card that I made with a Papertrey Ink set that I just think is incredible and oh so much fun.  My friend, Mish, helped brainstorm for this set, called Button Boutique. And let me tell you, if you are a button-lover, you NEED this set! I mean NEED it! Not to mention the button dies and the button card die are also a must!  We are talking NEED here people! There are so many neat little elements to this set that it will keep you playing for weeks and months! 

The paper is from Graphic 45 (Once Upon a Springtime). Another one of my favorites! This color combination has always appealed to me.  I remember back to high school. This was my favorite color combination! I still love it!

Swingin' Into Spring!

Good morning bloggers! I am just raring to go today. I was up at the crack of dawn and have already been up to Madison for my doctor's appointment.  I am back home and just about ready to sit down in my stamp room!  I came up with a project right before I left, and now I'm dying to get in there!

This card I made with one of my new Lili of the Valley stamps. The thing I really like about their new spring line of stamps is that you can use them all year long, not just for Easter. 

The paper I used is from My Mind's Eye (Hazel). Another beautiful pad of paper!  I adore the whole Stella Rose line.  I also put some of my Kaiser Pearls onto this which seems to add just the right touch.

Live, Laugh, Love and Cry sometimes. . .

Hello folks!  It's been awhile, hasn't it?  There has been a lot of things going on at the Lepinski household this last month. Although it seems as if we can't simply have something good happen without another case of bad news, I know that is just not true.  We will get through all of this, and we will be stronger people because of it. Enough of the blah, blah, blah. I have been crafting myself through the bad times.  I decided I wanted to show you some of the other "crafty" things I do on my blog. 

Today I opened up my candle-making factory for the day.  It is spring break here, and I had planned on making another batch or two of candles. I made candles way back in the day when I was doing craft shows. However, the wax has changed. My dad actually got me into making these types of soy candles.  Here is a picture of my candle-making factory. It is a set up and tear down kind of factory! LOL!  I made the following scents today (my house smells so good):  Strawberry;Peach Preserves; Blueberry Cobbler; Cucumber Melon; Crushed Ginger; Lime, Leaf, & Lily; Lemongrass; Cherry; Wild  Watermelon; and Cola.  I am having so much fun!

But not to worry! I have been stamping up a storm too!  We celebrated my birthday this last weekend (early) before my daughter went back to college. I was happy to receive some stamping goodies, my favorite being more Lili of the Valley stamps. So stay tuned! Today I will share this card made with Pure Innocence stamps and my new My Mind's Eye paper. I have gathered up 6 x 6 paper pads of the Stella Rose Collection. This card is made with the Hattie papers from the collection.  I have made hundreds of "Lana Cuts" backgrounds with this new paper. I am getting ready for a gathering of friends in April. I want to be able to mass produce cards and race my good friend, Lisa Zappa, to the finish line of many good cards! LOL!  She doesn't even know that the race is on! She is a stamp making machine. She creates fast and furious. I have come up with some techniques to improve upon the effectiveness of my creative time!  I will be sharing my ideas with you over the week! Miss You Cocoa

Good morning! It is a Saturday morning and my pot of coffee is just starting to sputter!  I am ready for a good cup of jo! 

This card is one of my favorites of the cards I have made recently.  The image is a digital image from Sweet & Sassy Stamps. Cocoa is the name of the mouse, and I think he is cute as can be!

I used a mix of patterned paper on this. I like how the colors go together.  I used the PTI library card stamp. I was inspired by my friend, Lisa Zappa, to make a card like this. She has sent me a couple of cards using the library card, and I have just loved them!

The little "miss you" stamp is from Hero Arts. The pearls add a nice touch to the library card as well! 

I look at this card, and I get hungry for chocolate chip cookies! He he he!  Have a happy Saturday folks!
